    Exclamation

I'm installing my rear torque motor mount insert.

I have it loose, but I cannot get it out. The heater hose is in the way. Do I have to remove the heater hose? If so, when I remove the heater hose, will a lot of water come out? Or maybe I don't need to remove it.

    Please advice me!

Lund, I just got through installing mine mine and as you know, what a biatch!

And if you think it's tight coming out, wait till it's going back in redface . Talk about NO play.

I wound up having my front passenger side mount disconected and was able to pry it over to the drivers side and slip it out, but it's very tight.

To get it back in I had to pry the engine forward with a prybar while squeezing it back in, and I also had to remove the bolt for the tranny because it was that tight that it wouldnt go past the head. I didn't have to remove the coolant hose though.

I was able to do mine with all the other mounts in place, and I did not remove the heater hose... I do not have a supercharger though... I took all the bolts off the big black triangle mount thing, then I took the 3 bolts off the actual mount and I was able to pull the mount out (with quite a bit of wigling) and it went back in the same way, it was harder to go back in, but I kept pushing at diferent angles and it finally went...

I removed the triangular support bracket, rotated it, removed and inserted it. It was easier than removing the heater hose, and pulling up.

It only took 2 hours, but that included taking the triangle support beam off twice, cause I dropped one of the 14mm bolts in it.

Now all three are done smile

I agree. I did not have to take off the heater hose just the heater control box (black box thingy) and I also removed the TB and had to wiggle and push real hard to get the heater hose to give enough to push past it

Expect to spend at least that much...
That's what ISA charges to do all three torque mounts...

We don't remove the heater hose, nor do we remove the mount from the rear beam...
We loosen the rear bracket, and move it up enough to slip the inserts in...

I'm not saying it's easy, even with a hoist and muffler stands...
But I've done probably 20 or so and they get easier the more you do... cool

Kinda OT but Just checked our books and Energy Suspension doesn't list a 94+ integra engine mount kit.

What company did you get yours from? ES or Prothane or other?

If you have a part #, even better. Thanks.
